The Big Fun Run Cardiff, in association with Real Radio and DW Sports Fitness is staged in Bute Park on Sat 4th Sep 2010 at 11:00am. The Big Fun Run is 5km long.

Route:
The run starts and finishes adjacent to Blackweir playing fields . Bute Park is an extensive area of mature woodland but is well served by excellent tarred pathways throughout.  The course initially heads in the direction of Cardiff Castle before looping around to follow a route that takes the runner past and acrossthe Taff River. The route follows the cycle path that leads back south alongisde the river before crossing back over to Bute Park.  The route is flat throughout. Please note that the route may be subject to change.

Start/Finish area:
The start/finish area is located on Blackweir playing fields adjacent to the changing rooms. This is located towards the North of Bute Park. The nearest pedestrian access is via gates on North Road. The start/finish area will be indicated by a large inflatable archway.

Parking:
There is no parking or vehicle access to Bute  Park . There is limited parking available on City Road and off Cathedral Road. Otherwise you may have to walk 10-15 minutes to the starting area so plan your journey accordingly. Pedestrian access is available via all entrances.
