The course will take you around the Newcastle Town Moor. Located in the heart of Newcastle and less than five minutes away from the A167, the Town Moor provides the perfect combination of a quiet traffic free route which is also in the city centre.

Area Description: 
When on the Town Moor you are only a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of the city which has a wide variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment. There are also excellent public transport links with the Haymarket Metro and bus station a 10 minute walk from the start line.

Baggage:
Runners will be able to store baggage in a gazebo next to the start area, however there is no changing facility available.

Photographs:
A new feature for 2013 will be a Big Fun Run podium and backdrop where participants can pose for photographs after the event. This will be free of charge and you should bring your own camera/phone for this purpose. If you would like photographs of you on the course, please ask family or friends to take some for you.

In the interest of safety:
The Race Director and the Emergency Services reserve the right to stop the race at any time, if deemed necessary. These would be in circumstances beyond our control and no refunds would be given.
