About the video above.
This film, made in house, shows two dogs that came into our care together having fun in the snow.
People often think that dogs in a rescue centre have a bit of a sorry life, but that's not the way we work. Training and rehabilitation are important in helping dogs recover from past trauma and preparing them to go onto new permanent homes but having fun is an important part of the process and we make sure all the dogs we take in enjoy life.
One of these dogs is deaf and the other had become his ears. They were rehomed as a pair.
Fun Runs are a good way of raising funds for our work. Enjoy life, enjoy a social event, enjoy getting fit and enjoy helping some dogs enjoy life as well!
Help us help more dogs like Shep and Tiger by running to raise funds for us.

About Border Collie Rescue.
We are a cross border dedicated canine breed rescue, specialising in Border Collies and herding (working) dogs.
We rescue, assess, re-home and provide sanctuary and care to as many dogs as possible and work to promote a better understanding of the breed and its welfare.
More information about our work can be found on our main website, Border Collie Rescue on Line
Around 50% of our work takes place in Scotland and as laws and some other conditions are different from the rest of the UK we run a dedicated Scottish website.

Running with Dogs
Border Collie Rescue encourages physical fitness and exercise for dogs and their owners through the development of running partnerships between them.
The charity runs a website with information and advice on how to get started, and links to resources and tips on training to run for fun or competition.
