Make sure that you arrive 15 minutes before the start to take part in the Big Fun Warm up. The event is not timed so don’t worry about rushing round. There will be signage and marshals along the route to cheer you on and make sure no-one goes the wrong way. Once you come through the finish line you will be greeted by our friendly MC and finish team who will give you a bottle of water, an event goody bag and your well deserved Big Fun Run medal. Remember your camera or phone and why not make your way to the Big Fun Run podium where you can take your picture along with anyone you’ve come with.
This route shows off the beauty of Crystal Palace Park. This route gives good pathways throughout and promises scenery to make your event even more enjoyable! Please note that the route may be subject to change. Crystal Palace Park is a 200 acre English Heritage Grade II* listed park which was once home to Sir Joseph Paxton’s Crystal Palace, the structure which originally housed the Great Exhibition in 1851. The route starts and finishes on an open flat area of grass and from then onwards, the route remains on the path throughout, until reaching the finish area. Apart from approximately 50m of grass at the start / finish, the Big Fun Run Crystal Palace route is suitable for wheelchair users.
